Ongoing care for planted beds: weeding, deadheading, dividing and seasonal colour.
Planted beds need a different touch than turf. On a maintenance visit we weed by hand, deadhead what is finished, stake what is flopping, divide perennials that have outgrown their space, and flag anything showing disease or pest damage before it spreads.
We can also plant seasonal colour — spring bulbs, summer annuals, fall mums — so there is always something in bloom near the front door.

Third season with them and the lawn has never looked better. They come the same day every week, and when it rains they just come the next dry day without me having to chase anyone.
